Appearance: Malathion with high purity is a colorless, odorless oily liquid. Malathion technical is a light yellow transparent oily liquid, with a bit special odor.
Density: 1.23g/cm³(at 20ºC)
Solubility: the solubility in water under room temperature is around 145mg/L, soluble in most organic solvents, slightly soluble in petroleum ethers.
Vapor Pressure: 5.3Mpa (at 20ºC)
Stability: Relatively stable in light and heat. Easily decomposed in strong acid or alkali solutions.

Biological Activity:
Malathion is an efficient, broad spectrum contact insecticide with low toxicity.
Acute oral of rats LD50: 2800mg/kg
Acute dermal of rabbits LD50 (24h): 4100mg/kg

Application: Malathioncan be used to control plant insect pests. And it is also can be widely used in sanitation to control and killmosquitoes, flies, flea, cockroach, etc.

Notes:
1) Application is prohibited 10-15 days before the harvest.
2) Avoid inhalation or skin contact. After working, use soap water to wash face, hands and other contacted body parts.
3) To use Atropine, PAM as the antidotes.
